Again, he's separated the three tracks here into a seamless mix, bringing all of these odds and ends together into tracks that span past 15 minutes each. Enjoy! Download: Captain Murphy- Duality (Instrumentals) Here's the instrumental version of Captain Murphy's Duality, which is the abstract hip hop project that had the Internet's attention for a good couple of days as people did their best to guess Murphy's real identity. Check a review of Duality here.

As some had correctly guessed, Captain Murphy might, in fact, be Flying Lotus according to some Instagram photos of a Murphy performance that went up a few hours ago.

This still leaves the question of who some of the other rappers on this tape are, because it's obvious--even after a single listen--that there are numerous voices on Duality, not just one. Maybe more of those involved with this project will be revealed in the near future.

Gold Panda- "Mountain" / "Financial District"

Beatmusic producer Gold Panda has digitally released a brand new single fro Ghostly International, which will be available physically on July 11th. The dude's 2010 album Lucky Shiner wasn't one of my favorites of that year, but there's still a lotta production chops there I can't deny--especially in the case of these two new tracks.

The track "Mountain" feels like a short visit to some far-off Tibetan monastery, housing some of the most at-peace-with-the-world monks known to man. "Financial District" seems to fit its title as well, feeling much more robotic, calculated, and regimented. The woozy synths hanging in the background are a nice touch as well!

Enjoyyyyyy!

1 Minute Miracles Demos

A recently dropped set of demos and early work from 1 Minute Miracles, which can only make the trajectory of this Canadian beatmeister more interesting. It's titled Wild Stepss, and stream its eight tracks above.

Find more recent work from this guy on his SoundCloud. Hopefully, that album he told me about is still on the way.

Touché Amoré- "Wants / Needs"

If you watch my YouTube channel often, you know post-hardcore isn't exactly one of the genre's I cover. However, it's not for a lack of love of this style. The thing is my heart lies in the slightly distant past. Not with the La Disputes and Poison the Wells of the world, but the Fugazis and Drive Like Jehus.

But things change, which isn't always bad. The style still has its merits--even if I'm not in love with a majority of the bands. Still, here's a modern post-hardcore group that caught my ear thanks to a comment from one of my viewers: Touché Amoré.

They're a California outfit with plenty of force, melody, brevity, and passion. Looks like just about everything I'd look for in this style of music. Plus, their sound doesn't fall prey to the same generic modern production tricks a lot of these bands use to sound louder than they really are.

I'm digressing a bit. Well, the thing is I haven't enjoyed music like this in a while, so it's a small thrill to hear a band perform this stuff with more natural energy than breakdowns.

Touché Amoré's latest LP, Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me, is out now via Deathwish. Stream the track "Wants / Needs" above, and listen to another right here.

Two New 1-Minute Miracles

Alien Tits by 1 Minute Miracles Cats by 1 Minute Miracles

Last time we heard from 1-Minute Miracles was when the announcement was made that an album is now in the works. This Canadian beat producer has been churning out short instrumentals on his website for a few months now, and nearly everything he's done, in my opinion, has been of a very high quality.

On these two tracks, the soul and R&B influences get turned up, and some serious miracles start happening. I could totally see Bobby Womack singing over "Alien Tits," and the chopped vocal sample on "Cats" isn't bad, too.

Stream above, and hang tight for the new album.
