BLACKPINK's debut studio album is a bit too spotty for its size.

BTS - Map of the Soul: 7
ReviewsCommentWhile it has quite a few highlights, Map of the Soul: 7 is bogged down in some of the most derivative and thankless songs of BTS's career.
BTS - Map of the Soul: Persona
ReviewsCommentPersona is missing the dramatic punch of BTS's previous work.
BTS - Love Yourself 轉 'Tear'
ReviewsCommentThough Tear has its consistency issues and its concept is sacrificed for the sake of having something for everybody, BTS is making ambitious and passionately performed pop music that puts many of their Western contemporaries to shame.
OOHYO - Girl Sense
New Tracks3 CommentsOOHYO is a 21-year-old Seoul-based musician, and apparently a quite humble one at that. In the description of her first release Girl Sense, she admits she's only beginning to discover her own potential as a musician, but I'd say she's off to a pretty good start. Her music is often described as synthpop, maybe with K-pop and indie influences, but there's also something subtly novel about her approach that makes this project such a nice listen. Check it out above and enjoy!
Girl Sense is out now via Mirrorball Music.
