Whistle Peak - "Longrun"

Some really fascinating production coming out from Whistle Peak.

They create some truly eerie sounds with the drip-drop synthesizers and layers of keys humming throughout. I really adore this sound it feels special too, something that only a certain artist cam create. The vocals add to this effect with the particular style of the singer being creepier if used with right music, this is exactly the right production. In fact, if you were to strip some of the layers away it would be perfect haunted house music, but the way it is now is something far better.

Reks- "Such A Showoff"

Reks fresh off releasing last year's album Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme is set to drop another LP this year. Like R.E.K.S., it features plenty of production from Statik Selektah. A track from this forthcoming LP has just been released with a lot of lyrical talent being showed off over the Selektah beat. The production reminds me of something off of Illmatic , pushing lots of heavy on the keys and bass, with a scratched vocal cuts over the hook. Pretty sure it's a Kanye vocal, too.

That old school, braggadocious vibe runs throughout this track delivering potent rhymes and a crisp rhythms. Straight, No Chaser  is set to release April 24.

Warm Digits- "Weapons Destruction"

A video from Warm Digits, which is an up-and-coming electronic music duo from the UK. Their music is a nice blend of krautrock and modern dance music. It's equal parts catchy and intricate. The song above, "Weapons Destruction," hits some pretty nice grooves as well.
