Iglooghost has finished work on his debut album for Brainfeeder, which is due to drop sometime in summer! I'm obviously excited cause his Chinese Nü Yr EP was one of my favorite releases of 2015, but in the meantime, we've got this running mix that contains some new material to whet our appetites a little bit more.

NMESH - Welcome To Warp Zone! (Tiny Mix Tapes 4-Hour Video Game Mix)
New TracksCommentWelcome to Warp Zone! [via Tiny Mix Tapes]
NMESH, the alias of Kentuckian electronic music producer and ex-drummer Alex Koenig, is committed to the concept of the "guest mix" to an almost unhealthy extent. Consider the above 4-and-a-half-hour-long, 10 "world" conceptual mix he created for Tiny Mix Tapes.
With the tagline, “TINY MIX TAPES HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED BY NINJAS. ARE YOU A BAD ENOUGH DUDE TO SAVE TINY MIX TAPES?” clearly this is not the product of a sane mind. This is the work of a person who has spent way too much time with the likes of Sonic the Hedgehog and Ryu Hayabusa. Basically, Koenig's my kind of guy and Welcome to Warp Zone! is the musical event of the year in my book. If you too feel keen to listen to 4 and a half hours of retro-virtual inanity, tune in above and enjoy!
Neil Cicierega - Mouth Silence
New TracksCommentPreviously mentioned Neil Cicierega has a new megamix of insanity out titled Mouth Silence. In the piece's first few moments alone, there's an amazing, heavenly remix of 3rd Eye Blind's "Semi-Charmed Life" propped up against a fusion of Nine Inch Nails' "Closer" with the Ohio Players' "Love Rollercoaster." Just let that settle in for a minute. Yeah, that happened.
Anyway, expect some hilariously insane musical clashing going on in this thing, and enjoy!
clipping. - "mix2"
Reviews1 Commentclipping. comes through with a miraculous, 18-minute mix that features over 50 songs in its run-time. Considering the trio will be officially dropping of the most eclectic hip hop albums ever this week, it's no surprise that this mix features everything from Sleaford Mods to T-Pain. It's a non-stop dance party--if you don't mind dancing with a bunch of total weirdos.
Enjoy!
Aesop Rock - The Blob
New TracksCommentOut of the damn blue, Aesop Rock drops a 30-minute collection of unreleased beats, loops, and sonic oddities that haven't made his commercial releases. It's a pretty colorful collection of tracks, honestly. It's just as lo-fi and idiosyncratic as I'd expect. It's kinda like a Tobacco or Black Moth Super Rainbow album, but without the incessant psychedelia vibe. Enjoy, and download the Blob here.
Nicolas Jaar - OUR WORLD
New TracksCommentCheck out this glorious hour-long mix that Nicolas Jaar made in honor of John Lennon for the 33rd anniversary of his death. There are many standout phases Jaar goes through here, opening with an interview with Lennon; going on to string together various clips of drones, film scores, and experimental piano work; and at one point sampling a bit of Black Friday mayhem. But the highlight is definitely his powerful remix of Lennon's "Oh My Love," which closes out the stream. You can listen to and download it in full above via Soundcloud.
This mix was the 16th issue of the weekly podcast hosted by Jaar's Other People imprint. Check in on its site for a new mix every Sunday.
