Last night, Henry Rollins went on The Late Show to promote his new movie He Never Died, which hits theaters tomorrow, and also to sing "Carol of the Bells" with Stephen Colbert. Musical event of the year right here.

Roma Amor - "Der treue Husar" (Video)
New TracksCommentDark cabaret outfit Roma Amor has a new album out on Old Europa Cafe called Una torbida estate. A couple of spots feature lyrics from traditional German songs, including this bittersweet number you might recognize from the end of Kubrick's Paths of Glory.
Mark Kozelek - Sings Christmas Carols
New Tracks1 Comment"Mark, you're the only person I know who can take a wonderful season like Christmas and turn it into a problem ... Of all the Mark Kozeleks in the world, you're the Mark Kozelekiest."
There's no topping that for now. Happy holidays, y'all! Thanks for a great year!

ReviewsCommentPallbearer's latest full-length draw out a lot of the same sounds and themes that played through the band's debut album.
Ghost - Infestissumam
Reviews9 CommentsCharlie Haden & Hank Jones- Come Sunday
Reviews2 CommentsCome Sunday is the second installment of traditional songs and spirituals from jazz veterans Charlie Haden and Hank Jones. I don't prefer it to the first album the duo released, Steal Away, but it's an enjoyable listen for fans of this genre.

Pilgrim- "Astaroth"
New TracksCommentSet for a 2012 release on Metal Blade Records, here's a track from the forthcoming debut album of Pilgrim, Misery Wizard. Though "Astaroth" showcases the riffage and heaviness you'd expect from just about any doom metal tune, the band does a great job of layering some murky harmonies into their guitars. The dreary group vocals that pop up in the middle of the track are a nice touch as well.
