Bear McCreary, who hails from the world of film, video game, and television composing, will release his album The Singularity: Ekleipsis on July 31st through Sparks & Shadows Records. It’s a follow-up to his 2024 album The Singularity. Numerous rock and metal musicians contribute their talent, including Slash, Tim Henson, Steve Vai, Stewart Copeland, Jens Kidman, and more.

"I need more cinematic metal in my life!" McCreary declares, and today, you can listen to some in the form of lead single "Black Box" with Gojira's Joe Duplantier. Check it out below:
