Billie Eilish shares "INTRO" as the latest teaser for her upcoming tour film

Billie Eilish certainly knows how to make an entrance. With just a couple of weeks to go until her new concert film Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour Live in 3D hits cinemas around the world on May 8, the LA-based artist has shared a preview of how the show opens with "INTRO," out now across all streaming platforms.

Watch the official visualizer for below:

Co-directed by Eilish and Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron, the film was shot during her sold-out performances in Manchester last year using innovative tech that, according to Cameron, "no one has ever used before." "You and I are part of a thing that I am making with him," she told the AO Arena crowd at the time. "He's in this audience somewhere, just saying. So don't mind that, and also I'll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days in a row."

It's Eilish's third concert film, following 2023's Grammy-nominated Billie Eilish: Live at the O2 and 2021's Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles, which had to be shot without a live audience due to the pandemic, but the first to receive a major theatrical release. Rather than following the documentary style of a traditional concert film, the emphasis is said to be on creating a fully immersive visual experience – though the recent second trailer shows plenty of behind the scenes footage as well.

It also contains a bunch of adorable puppies if you watch through to the end, just saying.
