Bring Me The Horizon have released “Dehumanized,” a brand new deathcore track in the vein of their Count Your Blessings era.
The song will be the sole new composition included in Count Your Blessings | Repented, a complete re-record of their 2006 debut album Count Your Blessings for its 20th anniversary, which will be released on July 10 via Sony Music.
Listen to the track, and watch its gory, visceral video directed by Eric Richter and the band’s lead vocalist, Oliver Sykes, below:
Per a press release, “the track serves as a bridge between past and present, carrying the unrelenting aggression and chaos of the band’s earliest material while reflecting the scope, ambition, and sonic precision that have defined Bring Me The Horizon’s evolution.”
The re-record is produced by Oli and Lee Malia, with mixing from Buster Odeholm. When talking about the LP, Oli said, “We can’t have this record sounding like what bands sound like today. It needs to be the best version of what it sounded like in 2006.” The band shared a taste of what the re-record will sound like with the Repented version of "Black & Blue" last month.
