To celebrate their 25th anniversary as a band, Death From Above 1979 announced their new album, Private Lives, set for release on January 29, via Last Gang/MNRK.

With the announcement, the Canadian duo shared the album's title track, "Private Lives," and a music video starring Kim Bodnia and directed by Eva Michon. Watch the video below.

The band describes "Private Lives" as a track that questions why we go so far to overexpose our daily lives down to the smallest thoughts we have. In a press release, the band continues to talk about the commitment to their new record, saying:

“Our new 10-song LP, Private Lives, represents a renewed commitment to the pure industrial magic of electricity. We’ve never been able to do anything halfway. Much like Kim Bodnia’s dance performance in the video for the lead single, it’s all or nothing for us.”

The band will be touring for Private Lives next year all throughout North America starting February 2. See those dates down below.
