After wrapping up several North American dates with De La Soul and Smino in September, Erykah Badu shared a scheduling update on her upcoming European dates.
According to a press release, Badu’s One Human Show will no longer take place in Paris, Milan, Sofia, and Katowice. She was set to perform during this run from October 18 to October 25, including two dates in Milan.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ms. Badu will be unable to perform several previously announced dates, while upcoming engagements in London, Amsterdam, Brussels, and Basel will continue. She sincerely apologizes to fans affected by these changes and recognizes the time, effort, and travel many have committed to attending. Ms. Badu deeply appreciates their understanding and flexibility,” she wrote in a statement.

Back in August, Badu released Before the World Blows: The Abi and Alan Experiment, her collaborative album with The Alchemist. It marked her first album in over 15 years, featuring appearances by Westside Gunn, D.R.A.M., Thundercat, Steve Lacy, Earl Sweatshirt, Kamasi Washington, and more.
When the album was announced in 2025, Badu flipped Mobb Deep’s 1999 record “The Realest” for “Next to You.” The song came together from a desire to rap over the beat, materializing in an unlikely pair where Alchemist sent her a collection of instrumental beats, which Badu deconstructed and sculpted into tracks that felt uniquely hers.
