DIY festival Faux unveils 2027 lineup

The Bowling Green, Ohio-based festival, Faux (formerly Fauxchella), has announced the lineup for its ninth iteration. The DIY festival is set to feature headliners including Sports., Equipment, and Kerosene Heights, amongst others.

The event will take place on March 19 and 20, 2027, with tickets going on sale this Friday at 12 PM EST. View the full lineup below:

The Midwest DIY festival operated under the moniker "Fauxchella" since its inception in 2017, much to the disliking of entertainment company AEG Presents. In 2025, the company filed a cease-and-desist against Summit Shack, organizers of Faux, for their use of "chella" in the festival's name. AEG is the behind-the-scenes organizer of behemoth events like Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, All Points East, and, you guessed it, Coachella.

According to Summit Shack's co-founder, Conor Kinkade, he received the cease-and-desist via email and initially dismissed it. Shortly after telling the AEG reps to kindly kick rocks, Fauxchella's internet presence began to disappear – social media accounts and their YouTube channel were removed under AEG's orders.

The spat with AEG is partially the reason why there was no Faux in 2026, as Kinkade decided to take a much-needed year off to regroup. Undeniably, though, fans will rush to Bowling Green in droves next year, as tickets for 2025's Faux 8 sold out in under 48 hours, Kinkade told TND, and he expects a similar demand for the event's 2027 return.
