Lost Weekend, Phoebe Bridger's first solo album since her 2020 breakout Punisher is set to be released next Friday, August 14th. However, fans can listen to the record up to four days early at their local planetarium, where Bridgers is set to host listening parties across the United States, Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand.
A total of 40 planetariums are participating in these listening parties, with showings running Monday the 10th through Friday the 14th, with multiple screenings available at each location. Depending on the planetarium, fans will experience one of two visual accompaniments: a custom dome show, designed by night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi, or an immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy.
Like Bridgers' run of pop-up shows and upcoming tour, the listening events will be device-free, with phones to be sealed in provided Yondr pouches.
The list of participating planetariums and tickets to their respective screenings can be found here.
