Westside Cowboy share "Dobro" ahead of debut album's release

Today, the Manchester pop rock fourpiece Westside Cowboy have shared "Dobro", the third and final promotional single off their debut album, It Goes On. The record comes out later this month on August 21 via Island Records.

"Dobro" comes with a zoetrope visualizer of a hand-drawn horse galloping. Watch/listen to it below:

"Dobro" follows "Kick Stones (The Boys)" and "Pin Up Boys." Like the previous two, the new single plays with signature composition styles in indie rock; "Pin Up Boys," for example, builds on the 'loud-quiet' structure, whereas its follow-up drawls on in a slacker rock vocal tone. Jimmy Bradbury takes lead on vocals against his steely, folkish, and vintage-sounding guitars. Bassist Aoife O'Connell provides her signature harmonies.

"This is our strut song, over two minutes in length but just under three," say Westside Cowboy in a press release. "A song for perhaps a younger self? For that moment of waiting and isolation in the hopes of a return. Or it could just be a song about a weird guitar. Who knows!"

Westside Cowboy begin their EU/UK promotional tour for It Goes On today. Limited tickets are still available now.
