Following last month's release of "The Fixer", which found her co-writing with longtime friend Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Oslo-based singer/songwriter Siv Jakobsen has shared her second single of 2026, "On You", together with news of her fourth album Scandinavian Dread, coming March 12 via The Nordic Mellow/Virgin Music Group.

Co-written and featuring another longtime friend Marit Larsen (of M2M fame), "On You" is described by Jakobsen in a press release as "an ode to gratitude and pure joy – to finally finding the right person and realising that every road and dead end somehow led you to them."

Listen below:

Larsen adds her thoughts, describing "On You" as "a breakthrough" for Jakobsen, showing a side to her that's "usually reserved for those of in her innermost circle."

Acting as a bridge between 2023's Gardening and the forthcoming Scandinavian Dread, the song looks both backwards and forwards, celebrating a love that feels complete after one that was destructive. "It is an emotional release bathed in light, hearts beating," Larsen says. "The perfect song to take with you into the low autumn sun, with leaves crunching under your soles."
