Slayyyter cancels remaining UK and European tour dates due to vocal cord injuries

Slayyyter has called off the remainder of her UK and European tour after doctors diagnosed her with laryngitis and vocal cord tears.

The singer announced the cancellations on Instagram Stories, explaining that multiple medical appointments resulted in instructions to begin medication and avoid singing for at least two weeks.

“Because of this, i am forced to cancel the remaining UK/EU dates to avoid permanent damage to my voice,” she wrote. “Full refunds will be available at point of sale.”

The cancellations affect the remaining overseas leg of her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR, which had dates scheduled through November 5, including performances in Warsaw, Berlin, Manchester, and London.

Slayyyter said her team is already exploring replacement dates for 2027.

“I know how much time and effort is spent to come out to a show. Some of you have traveled, some of you have made costumes, and I am completely devastated to not be able to give you the shows you were planning for,” she wrote.

The interruption comes during a busy release cycle. Her album WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA arrived earlier this year, and its companion project, wor$t man in america, is scheduled for December 4.

Meanwhile, Slayyyter has faced renewed online criticism over racist posts from a former One Direction and Fifth Harmony fan account she operated as a teenager.

The posts originally surfaced in 2019, when she acknowledged using racial slurs and apologized publicly. Screenshots have circulated again in recent days, prompting fresh criticism of her past conduct.

New screenshots also appear to show the singer addressing the backlash through a private X account, although the account's ownership has not been independently verified.

“Everyone trying to recancel me for highschool things & behavior; I don't know how many times I have to say I am not that kind of person anymore,” one post reads. Another criticizes people searching through her old posts and personal history, including material about sex work.

The screenshots also show the account discussing vocal difficulties before a Cologne performance.

“My voice is gone. I am so sick and so tired but I refuse to cancel any shows,” the post reads, asking concertgoers to help sing along.

Slayyyter has officially attributed the tour cancellations to her medical condition. She has not publicly connected the decision to the renewed controversy.
