Wu-Tang Clan will headline Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving halftime show

Wu-Tang Clan is set to headline the Detroit Lions' 87th annual Thanksgiving Day halftime show in their holiday bout against the Chicago Bears.

Eminem in tandem with long-time manager Paul Rosenberg were behind the selection of the performers of the Lions' halftime show for the second year, and they will serve as Executive Producers of the performance.

Detroit Lions President and CEO Rich Haddad had the following to say of the announcement:

"Our Thanksgiving Day Classic is one of the greatest traditions in sports, and Wu-Tang Clan is one of the greatest performers in music. We are thrilled to have Wu-Tang headlining our Thanksgiving halftime show and grateful to Marshall and Paul for their partnership."

The halftime performance will come at the end of the group's global farewell tour, Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, and on the heels of the group being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on November 14th.

The halftime performance will air on November 26th, on CBS at 1 PM EST.
