WHAT THE F**K IS THIS 😭

Unfortunately, your melon has been catching a little bit of flak lately for coming online and daring to say that Outkast's recent legal action against rapper-producer Ovrkast, trying to force him to change his name, is a little much. Not only the name change itself, but the request for damages and a percentage of money he made while using the Ovrkast name.

With further reflection, maybe it's a good thing Outkast stepped out here and protected their precious IP. Or else, who knows, we could have presumed it was an impostor who was about to do a crossover with Waffle House in Outkast's name. Because that would really reflect poorly upon the duo if some imposter were out here collaborating with Waffle House, with the Waffle House logo posted up right on their Twitter account in a wonky image featuring clashing perspectives that looks almost AI-generated. So yeah, it would be a shame if the precious Outkast IP were used in such a way, which is why they protected it.

We know they wouldn't do that.

What do you think?
