I can always count on the good people at Nialler 9 for a great tune when I need one. On my most recent visit, I saw a streamable EP from Moullinex: A dancepop project hailing from Germany. The Chocolat EP is the release to look for. It's out now on Gomma Recs.
On "Tear Club," the beats and bassline create an all-expenses-paid getaway to glimmering guitar island. The airy synthesizers float like clouds in the sky with some vocal mantras flying around them. The woodwind solo over the song's bridge is a really nice touch, too. It's a song you could just get lost in, but it's got a lot of detail and progression going for it, too.
