Seattle electronic music duo Blue Sky Black Death have taken things in a new direction with their new album Glaciers. Oh, their music is as lush and as chill as ever, but this new effort sees the twosome crafting sprawling ambient and instrumental hip hop odysseys that range from 8 to 14 minutes in length. Stream: Moderat - II Berlin-based electronic music project Moderat has made the follow-up to its 2009 self-titled effort available to stream via NPR. Moderat is a collaboration between dance duo Modeselektor and producer Sascha Ring, a.k.a. Apparat. Like its predecessor, II is loaded with infectious synth hooks and grooves, which range from IDM to 2-Step in style. Enjoy!

Swedish punks Makthaverskan go a wee bit jangle pop on this sophomore album of theirs, and the results are pretty catchy.
Sweden's Makthaverskan embraces the tenants of jangle and noise pop on this new collection of tracks, II. While the band's punk roots still remain on many tracks here--especially "Distance"--they show up in subtler ways: light distortion, fast tempos, and frontwoman Maja Milner's sharp, abrasive voice.
The songs are as catchy as they are energetic. Don't expect nothing but sugar on this thing, though. Milner's lyrics put some pretty dirty laundry on display. Just try not to wince at the bitterness that comes through on a track like "No Mercy." Enjoy!
I'm not sure if you'll see a stranger music video than this in the month of March. Unknown Mortal Orchestra has dropped some visuals for the track "Swim and Sleep (Like A Shark)," which is a cut off the band's latest record, II.
The video takes no time in establishing itself with puppet masturbation, therapy sessions, personal anguish, and more puppet masturbation. While there's an element of sadness to the main character's emotional problems, his, uh, "sickness" leads to happiness in a pretty hilarious ending.
