Nocando, Busdriver, and milo are still repping Hellfyer, hopping on a track that looks like it'll be appearing on a compilation formed by the alternative hip hop label in November. It's not a bad cut either, and kicks off with milo spitting with a flow that reminds me of something out of a Kimya Dawson song, oddly enough. Nocando's familial bars are some of the most personal I've heard from him, and the Busdriver hook is, uh, well, tolerable. Enjoy!

Black Jungle Squad - Gesus
New Tracks1 CommentA new collection of tracks from the previously mentioned Black Jungle Squad. Brainfeeder's Jeremiah Jae, a.k.a. Black Daffi, still delivers the production and most of the rap verses that you'll come across on this thing, Gesus sees the involvement on Tre on a great deal of these tracks, too.
Even though Gesus does come with a slight lineup change, the very understated, slow, and breezy vibe remains. It's not a hip hop sound that always grips me, but when I'm in the mood for it, I see this project doing very nicely--especially since the production is so textured, sample-heavy, and soulful. Enjoy!
