Over the course of the past couple of months, Battles have been teasing up to the release of Dross Glop, the remix album for last year's Gloss Drop, with a steady stream of 12" singles consisting of remixes from the album. With its April 17 release date approaching quickly, the wait for the full release is just about over. Otherwise, check back at Warp Records in a few days for the album's official release.
Between experimental hip hop duo Shabazz Palaces, techno minimalist The Field, and colorful electronic producer Hudson Mohawke, among other notable artists, Battles have put together an all-star cast that should at least provide many people a reason for a curiosity listen.
