As she prepares to head out on tour again, prolific songwriter Asher White has dug into her archives to share a reworked version of the track "Sailor's Moon" from her 2020 album In the Quarry.
Retitled "Nightingale Version (Sailor's Moon)", the updated track includes newly recorded drums, vocals, and guitar, but keeps the original's upright piano and Hammond organ takes, recorded in "a cavernous old church room" at Rhode Island School of Design, where White was studying in her sophomore year at the time. She describes the song as "very meaningful" and one that she "feared losing to time and wanted to dust off."
