Writing on their TUDUM blog today, Netflix has confirmed the long-rumored existence of a documentary about Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue, though it's not yet clear when exactly it will drop. Titled simply KYLIE, the three-part event is produced by Ventureland, the team behind the 2023 Netflix docuseries Beckham, and marks the first major directorial outing by Michael Harte, an editor on Beckham and the Michael J. Fox documentary Still.

Described as a celebration of "the joy, connection, and euphoria that make Kylie unmistakably Kylie," the documentary is said to dive into Minogue's personal archives and reflect on "a life that continues to captivate, inspire, and soundtrack multiple generations," including how she's "faced public scrutiny, personal loss, and illness with grit and grace, earning respect far beyond her own fandom."

Featuring alongside new interviews with Kylie herself are her sister Dannii Minogue, fellow Neighbours actor turned popstar Jason Donovan, songwriter/producer Pete Waterman who helped launch Kylie's pop career in the '80s, and Nick Cave, who worked so memorably with Kylie on all-timer duet "Where the Wild Roses Grow."

The last major documentary looking at Minogue's life was 2007's White Diamond, directed and produced by her former stylist and creative director William Baker.
