Los Angeles-based rockers Warpaint have been way too quiet since the release of their stellar debut, The Fool, back in 2010. Now they've released a brand new track in anticipation of their sophomore self-titled record. The track, "Love is to Die," is not too far removed from the tricks the band pulled on their last album, but it has a little bit more structure and polish to the sound. Slightly ghostly vocals, deep bass, persistent percussion, and a general gauziness all remind us of why these ladies are worth listening to.
Look out for Warpaint on January 21 via Rough Trade.
