Stream / Download: The Intelligence- "Techno Tuesday" San Franciscan group the Intelligence play garage rock, but that doesn't mean that they don't know how to tone things down. With its first half driven largely by a lightly strummed acoustic guitar, "Techno Tuesday," the second track to drop from the band's upcoming eighth LP, is an apt example. The steady pulse of a drum and frontman Lars Finberg's vocals keep the song moving until it unfolds into a laid back instrumental groove, which makes way for mellow tremolo-affected electric guitar and an upbeat bass line. Considering the band's more energetic capabilities, it's nice to get a taste of their versatility.
The album that will see this track's release is titled Everybody's Got It Easy But Me, and it will be out on June 19 via In the Red Records.
